    Description

The Halvern Descent Strap targets the tendon just below your kneecap — the one that absorbs most of the load when you're heading downhill, down stairs, or down a trail. Unlike a compression sleeve that wraps the whole joint, this applies pressure to one point, where descent load actually concentrates.

3D silicone gel pad, adjustable strap, one size fits most. Under 100g. Black.

    How To Use

Find the bottom edge of your kneecap. Measure two finger-widths down — that's roughly where the pad should sit, centered on the tendon. Strap it snug, not tight. You should feel steady, not squeezed.

Takes about fifteen seconds once you've done it once. A placement card ships inside every order.

    Our Guarantee

Try it for 60 days. Wear it on your next descent — stairs, trail, hill, whatever's normal for you. If it doesn't help, send it back. No reason needed.

One thing it won't do: fix a locked or swollen knee, or a suspected ligament tear. If that's what you're dealing with, see a doctor before you order anything online.

    • On the way

    • Buckle, up close

Your knee isn't the problem. The tendon below it is.

Walking downstairs, down a trail, or downhill asks your quad to slow you down with every step. That braking work lands on one spot — the tendon just below your kneecap. That's why the way up is usually fine, and the way down is the part you feel.
